
Evaluation

To evaluate the success of this project I will observe employee’s behaviors and ask for feedback. We have a very cooperative and open office culture and have had great success with open conversations and focus group meetings regarding feedback and new ideas.

To date, we have concluded all reviews. I asked for feedback regarding part 1 of this plan, the new evaluation form. Feedback has all been positive. Everyone agrees this form is much easier to follow and flows naturally.

The leadership team will also meet to discuss how the reviews in April compared to past reviews and observe the comfort level of employees and ease of conversation during these meetings.

We have not held this meeting yet however, I feel the conversations we had during the meetings stemmed from the evaluation form and were more engaging and informative than previous years.

Since we do not have a current system to objectively track performance, it should be clear to us if we are retrieving the desired information from this process or not. The project will either lead to this information successfully and accurately or it will not. It will be necessary for us to audit the system and ask employees if they feel the system is representative of their performance before making any major decisions based on the information provided.

The final and most important evaluation will be to evaluate the success of our organization and management team in implementing the change and following through with our new processes.

Moving forward...

A structured review process and clear metrics for evaluation will provide clear expectations and coaching for employees and allow us to evaluate overall business success.

Employees will feel more driven, working toward self set goals and will have a better understanding of how their work benefits the goals of the organization.

Future systems will be implemented by using the metrics for each department to create incentive systems and bonus guidelines.
